This is my story... and I'm sticking to it.

They called it a bedroom...
But really it was a closet. From this glamorous base in my Hoboken apartment I launched my design business. The computer was expensive and slow, the clients few, and the hours long—there was more than one all-nighter, but I never looked back.

Here I am 18 years later
In 2000 those long nights and weekends became my full-time job. Today the closet has been upgraded to a proper office. There's a better computer, and more clients. I'm still not looking back.
